Emerging from the Pandemic #4: The Plan and Team

Summit Toronto firmly believes in holding & hosting in-person events to advance your business interests*.  We have been readying the resources to help you do this in the upcoming months.   

These actions include:

1. Establishing partnerships with some of Canada’s most experienced, quality event venues to host/cater your events (Oliver & Bonacini Hospitality and Distillery Events).

2. Establishing clear Standards and Guidelines to Conduct In-Person Meetings that our teams will adhere to. These include:

          A) Flow of Guests into & out of the venue (i.e.: Arrival/departure times; Designated elevators/stairwells; Extra staff to    manage spacing, conduct and cleaning)

          B) Cleanliness/readiness of the venue (i.e.: Sanitation of spaces, furniture, glassware & place settings (before & during); Trained hosting and cleaning staff; Hand sanitation stations/PPE equipment (and places to dispose of them)

          C) Guest Interactions/Mingling (before & after) (i.e.: Spacing; Greetings; Helpful signage)

          D) Seating of Guests (i.e.: Table Placement/Spacing; # of Guests/table; Extra Staff to aid in the easy seating/flow of guests to their tables)

           E) Handling and Serving of Food (i.e.: From kitchen staff to suppliers to servers)

           F) Guest Speaker Management, and related AV support (i.e.: Preparation & use of microphones & AV equipment for your speakers; Safe set-up and management of AV equipment, podium and/or seating)

          G) Event Staff Screening & Management (i.e.: Personnel screening; PPE and Contact list (for potential tracing)

3. Ensuring a senior Summit partner, (a) provides you a full pre-event risk assessment & event-plan and (b) personally leads the on-site team.

No detail in preparation or execution is too small for us and our venue/catering partners.
