When “business” begins to return to normal, so will in-person meetings and events.
As corporate event planners, we have a serious responsibility to help ensure your events are delivered in a manner that provides your guests/employees total comfort to attend and enjoy.
Given the recent pandemic, meeting planners must now ensure any gathering is completely safe -> from managing how guests arrive/depart, to how they mingle & socialize; to how tables and settings are properly placed & spaced, to how food & drink is safely prepared and served; to how the venue is readied beforehand and maintained throughout.
There are so many small, important details to get 100% right, we recommend you consider leaving this to meeting professionals for the next 12-18 months and host them outside your company.
With this blog, I’m pleased to announce the first of three “Trusted & Preferred Partnerships” Summit has now entered into with Oliver & Bonacini Hospitality (O&B). As you likely know, O&B has a stable of ~20 venues across Canada and an unmatched reputation for quality, service and attention to detail. Without question, O&B will be a important partner going forward.
By partnering with a set of established, world-class event & catering partners*, Summit can assure our clients safe, comfortable and easy gatherings. (*We have two more partnerships – with well-established, first-class providers – that are close to being finalized, which we’ll announce shortly). Summit has developed a set of STANDARDS AND GUIDELINES FOR IN-PERSON EVENTS, which we’ll continue to update with our partners.
As mentioned in our last blog, now is not quite the time to hold/host an event, but it is time to start thinking about then.
Be assured, that the Summit team has always – and will always – run safe, enjoyable and impactful events.
